Accredited engineers at a very competitive rate
Whether you occupy a commercial office, school or licensed premises, it is your obligation under the Health and Safety at Work Act to ensure your staff, pupils or visitors are not at risk and that the installation and ongoing maintenance continues to be in a safe and serviceable condition.
How often are fixed wire tests required?
Wires can naturally deteriorate with usage and time, so your workplace or property could quickly be deemed as non-compliant with current Electricity at Work Regulations.
Please see below a guide for how often fixed wire testing for your premises should be undertaken:
Commercial | 5 years |
Educational Establishments | 5 years |
Hospitals | 5 years |
Industrial Premises | 3 years |
Hotels and Restaurants | 1 year |
Fixed wire testing compliance
The only way of making sure you are compliant with the maintenance of your electrical systems is by carrying out a Periodic Electrical Test and Inspection in accordance with BS 7671 (IEE Wiring Regulations).
If your commercial property has not had a Periodic Inspection within the last five years, contact one of our engineers today.
